BOSS has been selected for the Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program –“Champions Live Here”. We are one of the 56 local-non-profit organizations recognized for making a transformative impact in underserved communities across the Los Angeles region. In partnership with the LA84 Foundation, the Play Equity Fund, and the National Football League (NFL) Foundation, the Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program seeks to shine a spotlight on the achievements of local community organizations who often go unrecognized. A community member nominated your organization, and, after careful review by the Legacy Program Selection Committee, BOSS is one of 56 unsung hero nonprofit organizations to be recognized…with a $10,000 grant award and participation in the Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program – Champions Live Here. In addition to the $10,000 grant award, BOSS will receive:
- Professionally produced promotional video that tells our story for use on media platforms
- Promotion of our organization on the Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee media site, and other outlets leading up to Super Bowl LVI
- Inclusion of our organization name and website on promotional materials
BOSS joined the other Champions for a press conference at So-Fi Stadium to announce the winners, and BOSS leader Everett Glenn worked his usual magic to secure a spot for BOSS in this Fox-11 clip that captured the excitement of the event.
